Section 9-2434 - Criminal Penalty for Providing Unlicensed Sign Language Interpretation Services

An individual who violates any provision of this part is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to: (1) for a first offense, a fine not exceeding $500 or imprisonment not exceeding 90 days, or both; and (2) for each subsequent violation, a fine not less than $500 and not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 90 days, or both.
