Section 2-514 - Special Enrollment Period for Certain Employees

(a) In addition to regular open enrollment periods, the Program shall provide special open enrollment for health insurance benefit options established under the Program for a nonparticipating State employee after the death of a spouse who was not a State employee. (b) Evidence of insurability may not be required under this section if the State employee was covered under a group health insurance policy at the time of the death of the employee's spouse.
