Section 18-101 - Title Inapplicable to Shared Motor Vehicles Under Peer-to-Peer Car Sharing Program

(a) In this title, 'rent' means to rent or lease for a period not exceeding 180 days. (b) This title does not apply to peer–to–peer car sharing of a shared motor vehicle made available on a peer–to–peer car sharing program, as defined under § 19–520 of the Insurance Article, and that is subject to Title 18.5 of this article.
