Section 27-102 - Misdemeanor -- Violation of License Restriction or Regulation

Except as provided in § 21–1207.1 of this article, a person who violates a restriction imposed on any license under the Maryland Vehicle Law or who violates a regulation adopted under the Maryland Vehicle Law is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction, in addition to any administrative penalty provided in the Maryland Vehicle Law, is subject to the greater of: (1) The penalty provided in § 27–101(b) of this title; (2) The penalty provided for a violation of § 16–113(j) of this article; or (3) The penalty provided for a violation of the statute under which the restriction is imposed or the regulation adopted.
