§ 39

Each register shall enter in a cash book, which shall be the property of the county, all fees received by him for all official acts and services; and he shall, on the first day of each month, pay to the county treasurer, or other officer entitled to receive the same, all fees received during the preceding month, and shall render to him a sworn account thereof.
