In making his initial appointments to the board of directors of the Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation, the governor shall select the appointed members from among the members of the board of directors of the Massachusetts Science and Technology Foundation holding such position on the effective date of this act who also meet the qualifications for members of the Board of the Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation as specified in section three.
