The provisions of this chapter relative to the warning and organization of meetings of religious societies shall, so far as appropriate, apply to meetings for the organization of the trustees. The secretary, before entering upon the duties of his office, shall be sworn to the faithful performance thereof, and a record of such oath shall be made in the records of the trustees.
