\nNo person shall hold himself out to be a licensed certified social worker, or a licensed social worker, or a licensed social work associate unless he has met the applicable requirements set forth in section one hundred and thirty-one.\nNo person shall engage in the independent practice of clinical social work or hold himself out to be a licensed independent clinical social worker unless he is licensed under the applicable provisions of section one hundred and thirty-one.\nViolation of this section shall be punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment for not more than three months or by both such fine and imprisonment.
