\nEvery applicant for registration as an architect shall pay to the board, upon filing his original application or an additional application, a fee to be determined annually by the commissioner of administration under the provision of section three B of chapter seven. Every applicant for registration by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, who is required by said council to submit to a standard junior or senior examination to be conducted by the board, shall pay to the board a fee as determined under the aforementioned provision.
