§ 46f

Each person licensed under section forty-six D to carry on the business of an employment agency shall before such license issues pay to the commissioner a license fee, the amount of which shall be determined annually by the commissioner of administration under the provision of section three B of chapter seven for the filing thereof. Each licensee shall, before his license is issued or renewed, deposit with the commissioner a bond in a penal sum of three thousand dollars with two or more sureties or a duly authorized surety company, to be approved by the commissioner. The bond shall be payable to the people of the commonwealth and shall be on condition that the licensee will comply with the provisions of sections forty-six B to forty-six R, inclusive, and shall pay all damages occasioned to any person by reason of any misstatement, misrepresentation, fraud or deceit, or any unlawful act or omission of said licensee, his agents or employees, while acting within the scope of their employment, and made, committed or omitted in the business conducted under such license.
