§ 12

Every corporation may, by a vote of a majority of each class of stock outstanding and entitled to vote, appropriate not more than five thousand dollars or an annual sum of not more than five hundred dollars for the support of free beds in one or more hospitals in the commonwealth, for the use of its employees.
