PENALTY FOR SIGNING FALSE DOCUMENT\n(a) A person commits an offense if he signs a document that he knows is false in any material respect with intent that the document be delivered to the secretary of state for filing.\n(b) The secretary of state shall refer to the attorney general for action evidence of offenses under this section.\n(c) An offense under this section is a civil misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $100,000.
