Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to transfer or grant control of transportation services, operations, finances, facilities or related appurtenances of any regional transit authority established pursuant to chapter 161B to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority or otherwise limit the authority granted to such regional transit authority pursuant to said chapter 161B.
