In the event that any sum recovered under section six comes into the hands of the executor or administrator of the deceased after the expiration of one year after the date of the death of the deceased, such sum shall be treated as new assets of the estate of the deceased within the meaning of section eleven of chapter one hundred and ninety-seven.
