Indictments shall be returned in the county wherein the statewide grand jury sits and shall thereafter be transferred to the county specified by the statewide grand jury on the indictment. For the purposes of trial for offenses indicted by a statewide grand jury, venue shall be in any county in which venue would otherwise be proper.
