Dec. 18, 2004\nConstitutionality:\nIn Obergefell v Hodges, 576 U.S. ___ (2015), the United State Supreme Court held that the Fourteenth Amendment requires a state to license a marriage between 2 people of the same sex and to recognize a marriage between 2 people of the same sex when their marriage was lawfully licensed and performed in another state.
