12.42 Transfer of staff, records, files, property, and trusts. Sec. 2. All of the staff, records, files and other property, including property held in trust, belonging to the auditor general with respect to drawing and issuing of warrants and with respect to actions in garnishment shall be transferred to the state treasurer and shall be continued as part of the staff, records, files and property of the office of the state treasurer.
