123.923 Public buildings; financing obligations; joint ventures. Sec. 3. The cities, villages, townships and counties aforesaid, acting under the provisions of this act, shall have power and they are hereby authorized to raise by taxation or loan in sum or sums necessary for the payment of obligations entered into under the provisions of this act in the manner and to the extent provided by law for the acquiring and maintenance of public buildings by such municipalities, it being the intent and purpose of this act that counties and cities may enter into joint adventures in the erection of buildings for public purposes to the same extent and with the same authority and power that is granted to counties and cities for the purpose of maintaining separate public buildings.
