123.831 Fire departments in cities of 70,000; minimum standards. Sec. 1. In each city, township or village which has or shall hereafter attain a population of 70,000 or more according to the last decennial census, the fire department shall meet the minimum standards set by the Michigan inspection bureau to qualify for class 6 fire classification.
