123.382 Local governmental units; power to construct and operate with units in another state. Sec. 2. Any local unit of government, either alone or jointly with another local unit or units of government, is hereby empowered and authorized to construct, maintain and operate waste disposal systems and water supply systems through agreements or contracts with local units of government located in another state upon such terms as may be agreed upon which are not contrary to any of the laws of this state. The contracts and agreements may provide for the location of the systems either within the boundaries of this state or within the boundaries of the other state. History: 1965, Act 76, Imd. Eff.
