125.771 Definitions. Sec. 1. As used in this act: (a) 'Mobile home' means a factory assembled portable structure designed or used for year-round residence purposes, designed and built to be towed on its own chassis, connected to utilities, and installed on a homesite with or without a permanent foundation. A structure may contain parts that may be folded, collapsed, or telescoped when being towed, and expanded later to provide additional cubic capacity. A structure may also be 2 or more separately towable components designed to be joined into 1 integral structure capable of being again separated into components for repeated towing. (b) 'Motor home' means an automotive vehicle built on a truck or bus chassis and equipped as a self-contained traveling home. (c) 'Recreational vehicle' means a transportable structure which is used for camping or casual travel. History: 1974, Act 133, Eff. Dec. 5, 1974
