125.684 Rents; supervision; state department of health. Sec. 34. Rents charged for the services furnished by any project or combined projects purchased, acquired, constructed, improved, enlarged, extended, operated or repaired, under the provisions of this act, shall not be subject to supervision or regulation by any state bureau, board, commission or other like instrumentality or agency thereof and it shall not be necessary for any borrower operating under the provisions of this act to obtain any franchise or other permit from any state bureau, board, commission or other instrumentality thereof in order to construct, improve, enlarge, extend, repair or operate any project or combined projects named in this act: Provided, however, That the functions, powers and duties of the state department of health shall remain unaffected by this act.
