125.1444e Income eligibility standards applicable to tenant of housing project. Sec. 44e. Income eligibility standards applicable to a tenant of a housing project financed under this act shall be complied with at the time of the initial occupancy of the tenant. The authority shall require subsequent compliance with income eligibility standards by an initially eligible tenant only to the extent that the authority determines that compliance is necessary or desirable to effectuate the purposes of this act or applicable federal law.
