129.222 Acceptance of payment by financial transaction; prohibition. Sec. 2. A local unit shall not accept a payment by financial transaction device if prohibited by law or charter. A local unit shall not accept a payment by financial transaction device more than 6 months after the effective date of this act unless it complies with section 3. History: 1995, Act 280, Imd. Eff.
