168.291 State board of education and boards of state universities; resignation, notice. Sec. 291. Any person duly elected to membership on the state board of education, the board of regents of the University of Michigan, the board of trustees of Michigan State University or the board of governors of Wayne State University, who desires to resign shall file a written notice containing the effective date of such resignation with the governor and a copy with the secretary of state.
