257.17b 'Fund-raising registration plate' and 'state-sponsored goal' defined. Sec. 17b. 'Fund-raising registration plate' means a registration plate that contains a design or logo representing a symbol for a Michigan university or state-sponsored goal and is issued by the secretary of state to raise funds for the respective Michigan university or state-sponsored goal. As used in this section, 'state-sponsored goal' means the purpose for which a state-sponsored fund-raising registration plate is authorized under section 811e. History: Add. 2000, Act 77, Eff.
