257.79b 'Vehicle scrap metal processor' defined. Sec. 79b. 'Vehicle scrap metal processor' means a dealer engaged in the business of buying or otherwise acquiring vehicles for the purpose of processing and selling the metal for remelting. A vehicle scrap metal processor shall not sell major components or other parts for vehicle repair purposes, unless the vehicle scrap metal processor first obtains a used or secondhand vehicle parts dealer license.
