§ 257.502

257.502 Operating record; certified abstract inadmissible as evidence. Sec. 502. (a) The secretary of state shall upon request and upon payment of the required fee furnish any person a certified abstract of the operating record of any person subject to the provisions of this chapter, which abstract shall also fully designate the motor vehicles, if any, registered in the name of such person, and, if there be no record in the office of the secretary of state of any conviction of such person of violating any law relating to the operation of a motor vehicle or any injury or damage caused by such person, the secretary of state shall so certify. (b) Such record shall not be admissible as evidence in any action, civil or criminal, arising out of a motor vehicle accident. History: 1949, Act 300, Eff. Sept. 23, 1949
