257.727b Citation books; issuance; receipt. Sec. 727b. Each police chief, including the state police, and each sheriff shall issue citation books to each police officer of the department whose duties may or will include traffic duty or traffic law enforcement. Each police chief shall obtain a receipt from the officer to whom a citation book has been issued upon a form created by the secretary of state, the attorney general, the state court administrator, and the director of the department of state police.
