324.2137 Sale or exchange of land not designated as surplus land; exclusions.Sec. 2137. (1) Upon request, the department shall consider selling or exchanging land that is not designated as surplus land. The sale or exchange of the land is subject to the same procedures as apply to the sale of land that is designated as surplus land under this subpart. (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to land in a state park, state recreation area, state fish hatchery, state game area, or state public boating access site. Subsection (1) does not apply to a request to sell land if the request meets the requirements of section 2138. History: Add. 2018, Act 238, Eff.
