324.5706 Access to information, records, and documents; assistance to ombudsman. Sec. 5706. Upon request, the ombudsman shall be given access to all information, records, and documents in the possession of the commission and the department that the ombudsman considers necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the office other than information described in section 13 of the freedom of information act, Act No. 442 of the Public Acts of 1976, being section 15.243 of the Michigan Compiled Laws. The commission and the department shall also assist the ombudsman in fulfilling his or her responsibilities under this part. History: 1994, Act 451, Eff.
