324.6319 Tampering with motor vehicle. Sec. 6319. A person shall not tamper with a motor vehicle that has been certified to comply with this part and the rules promulgated under this part so that the motor vehicle is no longer in compliance. For purposes of this part, tampering does not include the alteration of a motor vehicle by employees of the department for purposes of monitoring and enforcement of this part.
