324.8308 Powers of director; audits.Sec. 8308. (1) The director may do all of the following: (a) Issue an experimental permit to a person applying for that permit if the director determines that the permit is necessary for the applicant to accumulate information necessary to register a pesticide. (b) Prescribe terms, conditions, and the period of time the pesticide may be used under the experimental permit, which shall be under the supervision of the director. (c) Revoke an experimental permit when its terms or conditions are violated or its terms and conditions are inadequate to avoid unreasonable adverse effects on the environment. (2) The director may conduct audits to determine compliance with this part. In conducting audits under this part, the director may contract for the performance of the audit.
