324.8521 Penalties and sanctions; exceptions.Sec. 8521. The penalties and sanctions provided for violations of this part do not apply to any of the following: (a) A commercial carrier while lawfully engaged in transporting a commercial fertilizer within this state, if the carrier, upon request, permits the director to copy all records showing the transactions in and movement of the commercial fertilizer. (b) The shipment or movement of any commercial fertilizer considered to be in violation of this part, for the specific purposes of disposal or storage when conducted under the approval of the director. (c) Public officials of this state and the federal government while engaged in the performance of their official duties in administering this part or rules promulgated under this part.
