324.43528a Moose hunting license; fees; kill tag.Sec. 43528a. (1) A resident shall not hunt moose without a moose hunting license. Beginning March 1, 2014, only a resident holding a valid base license is eligible to purchase a moose hunting license, pursuant to current regulations. The fee for a moose hunting license is $100.00. The department may establish a nonrefundable application fee not to exceed $4.00 for each individual who applies for a moose hunting license. Beginning March 1, 2014, the department may establish a nonrefundable application fee not to exceed $5.00 for each individual who applies for a moose hunting license. (2) The department may issue a kill tag with, or as part of, a moose hunting license. The kill tag shall bear the license number. The kill tag may also include space for other pertinent information required by the department. The kill tag, if issued, is part of the license. History: Add. 2010, Act 366, Imd. Eff.
