324.43543 Course of instruction in safe handling of firearms; instructors; registration; certificate of competency. Sec. 43543. The department shall provide for a course of instruction in the safe handling of firearms and shall designate persons, without compensation, to serve as instructors and to award certificates. A person desiring to take the course of instruction shall register with an instructor certified by the department.
