324.47356 Huron bay. Sec. 47356. A person shall not take, catch, or attempt to take or catch any fish with seines, gill nets, or any form of pound or trap nets or in any manner except by the use of hook and line in the waters of Huron bay, which within this part mean: South of an east and west line beginning at the meander corner between sections 14 and 23, township 52 north, range 31 west, and running west to the meander corner between sections 15 and 22, township 52 north, range 31 west, Baraga county. A person may use spears through the ice of those waters during the months of January, February, and March for taking carp, suckers, mullet, redhorse, sheepshead, lake trout, smelt, northern pike, muskellunge, sturgeon, whitefish, ciscoes, pilot fish or menominee whitefish, catfish, bullheads, herring, perch, pike-perch, shad, dogfish, and garpike.
