324.47701 Fish restoration; cooperation with federal government; funds accruing from license fees; use. Sec. 47701. The department may perform acts as may be necessary to the establishment and management of fish restoration, management, and research projects and areas in cooperation with the federal government as defined in chapter 658, 64 Stat. 430, 16 U.S.C. 777 to 777e, 777f to 777i, and 777k to 777 l, commonly known as the federal aid in fish restoration act, and with rules and regulations promulgated by the United States secretary of the interior under that act; and in compliance with that act, funds accruing to the state from license fees paid by anglers shall not be used for any purpose other than fish and game activities under the administration of the department.
