324.63507 Rules. Sec. 63507. (1) The department shall promulgate rules pertaining to surface coal mining and reclamation operations that are required by this part. (2) A rule promulgated or a permit issued by the department may differ in its terms and provisions as to particular permit conditions, types of coal being extracted, particular areas of the state, or any other conditions that appear relevant and necessary if the action taken is consistent with attainment of the general intent and purposes of this part.
