324.78501 Cheboygan lock and dam; acquisition. Sec. 78501. The department may purchase and receive from its owners on behalf of the state for a nominal consideration of not to exceed $1.00 and subject to an agreement that the department maintain the property and such terms, conditions, and stipulations as the department may approve, the locks, dams, races, structures, and related properties, facilities, flowage easements, and real estate connected with or a part of the facility now known as the Cheboygan lock and dam, at Cheboygan, Michigan.
