333.13407a Action by individual suffering injury.Sec. 13407a. If an individual suffers an injury while using a tanning device at a tanning facility and if that tanning facility has failed to comply with the disclosure and consent requirements of this part, the individual may bring an action in a court of competent jurisdiction for actual damages plus an amount of not more than $1,000.00, as well as actual and reasonable attorney fees.
