333.21776 Transfer or discharge of patient; plan; counseling services. Sec. 21776. The licensee, with the approval of the department, shall develop a plan to effectuate the orderly and safe transfer or discharge of a patient. The patient and the patient's family or representative shall be consulted in choosing another facility. The patient shall receive counseling services before the move to minimize the adverse effects of transfer trauma.
