§ 333.21795

333.21795 Education and training for unlicensed nursing personnel; criteria; competency examinations; rules. Sec. 21795. (1) The department, in consultation and with the advice of the Michigan board of nursing and appropriate consumer and professional organizations, shall develop by rule minimum criteria for the education and training for unlicensed nursing personnel in facilities designated in this part. (2) This section shall not be construed to be a prerequisite for employment of unlicensed nursing personnel in a nursing home. (3) During the annual licensing inspection the department shall, and during other inspections the department may, conduct random competency examinations to determine whether the requirements of this section are being met.
