§ 333.2473

333.2473 Specific objectives of required services; demonstrating provision of service; contracts. Sec. 2473. (1) Required services designated pursuant to part 23 shall be directed at the following specific objectives: (a) Prevention and control of environmental health hazards. (b) Prevention and control of diseases. (c) Prevention and control of health problems of particularly vulnerable population groups. (d) Development of health care facilities and agencies and health services delivery systems. (e) Regulation of health care facilities and agencies and health services delivery systems to the extent provided by state law. (2) A local health department and its local governing entity shall provide or demonstrate the provision of each required service which the local health department is designated to provide.
