333.2614 Duties of department generally. Sec. 2614. The department shall: (a) Establish procedures to identify the circumstances under which, the places at which, the persons from whom, and the methods by which a person may secure that data, including the procedures governing requests, and the review established pursuant to section 2639. (b) Prescribe standards for the publication of health-related data reported pursuant to this code which will encourage characteristics including accuracy, validity, reliability, completeness, and comparability; and advise users as to the status of the quality of the data. (c) Prescribe the contents of forms or authorize the use of standardized forms for the collection of health-related data. The content and form shall be consistent with related local and federal requirements. (d) Prescribe standards for the maintenance and preservation of health-related data.
