333.2847 Death of individual in county in which individual not a resident; information; issuance of certified copy or certificate of registration prohibited. Sec. 2847. When a death registration returned by a local registrar to the state registrar indicates that an individual died in a county in which the individual was not a resident, the state registrar shall forward the necessary information monthly to the local registrar of the county in which the individual was a resident. A certified copy or certificate of registration based on this information shall not be issued by a local registrar receiving information under this section. History: 1978, Act 368, Eff.
