333.5461a Lead-based paint activities; training program; accreditation required. Sec. 5461a. (1) A person shall not provide or offer to provide a training program for lead-based paint activities unless the training program is accredited under the appropriate discipline under this part. A person providing an accredited training program shall comply with the standards for accreditation and training certification prescribed in this part and the rules promulgated under this part. (2) The department shall accredit a training program if the training program is registered by the department under the department's voluntary registration program by August 30, 1998 if the training program submits an application under section 5462.
