333.7501 Arrest without warrant. Sec. 7501. A sheriff, deputy sheriff, or local or state police officer who has reasonable cause to believe that a violation of this article punishable by imprisonment for 1 year or more has taken place or is taking place and reasonable cause to believe that an individual has committed or is committing the violation, may arrest that individual without a warrant for that violation whether or not the violation was committed in the law enforcement officer's presence.
