338.851 Violation; penalty. Sec. 31. A licensee, manager, or employee of a licensee who violates this act or a rule promulgated under this act is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 90 days or by a fine of not more than $500.00, or both. History: Add. 1974, Act 114, Eff. July 1, 1974 ;-- Am. 2002, Act 474, Eff. Oct. 1, 2002 Compiler's Notes: Former MCL 338.851, deriving from Act 229 of 1939 and pertaining to a state board of embalmers and funeral directors, was repealed by Act 268 of 1949.
