338.2159 Servicing and examining power elevators; exceptions; minimum requirements. Sec. 9. A power elevator, except a private residence elevator and a private residence inclined lift, shall be serviced and examined for defects by a licensed elevator journeyman at such periods as may be necessary, but not less than every 60 days, to maintain the equipment in safe operating condition.
